The digital/UI designer will have two main areas of responsibility: the first will be designing and maintaining the next iteration of the Amplio website. This may include illustration and animation which visualizes key company concepts and products. The second and longer-term area of responsibility will be UI design for Amplio app development. The digital/UI designer will work closely with the Amplio UX design team, taking direction from their UX research and wireframes. They will refine app wireframes and finalize layouts for high fidelity prototypes, as well as build and manage a component library. They will create a comprehensive style guide and ensure consistent branding throughout Amplio products.
We are a small, tightly knit design team looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, is willing to wear multiple hats and can roll up their sleeves to get the job done when needed. The ideal candidate is someone who can also work independently, is a driven problem solver, and is looking to make an impact at a fast-growing startup.
Amplio HQ is based in Washington D.C. However, due to COVID-19, our team is working remotely at this time and we are open to hiring candidates located outside of Washington D.C.
