The Cybersecurity & Remote Access Technology Product Manager role will ensure Accuray’s remote access offerings provide competitive advantage while also making sure associated data from across the product portfolio is protected from evolving cybersecurity threats. This person will play a key role in reviewing, processing, and responding to commercial requests related to contractual terms and cybersecurity assessment documentation in a timely and deal-sensitive environment. This role will help drive strategy by way of definition of ongoing remote access technology and cybersecurity solutions formulation that address impacting regulations and customer expectations globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Helps lead definition to go-to-market deployment of remote access technology products and services that are key to the Accuray portfolio of offerings.
Manages and addresses customer and regulatory expectations/requirements of ongoing data protection/cybersecurity to harmonize with industry standards throughout the product lifecycle.
Coordinates and drives the review and timely delivery of collateral materials related to remote access technology offerings and data protection/cybersecurity during and after tenders, sales transactions, service contract renewals (e.g. informational material/white papers describing security features, controls Accuray’s position related to MDS2, SBOM, product patching, product lifecycle, software updates, patching, and vulnerability disclosures).
In collaboration with the Regulatory, Regional Marketing, and Systems Engineering teams, influences and supports longer term strategies for adoption and integration of requirements into the product portfolio.
Develops strategies to efficiently address customer inquiries/responses for current data protection/cybersecurity practices, and risk controls in product and service delivery.
Maintains and leverages in-depth knowledge of current and emerging security threat and regulatory landscape for medical devices in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to define cybersecurity requirements near and long-term for Accuray’s product portfolio.
Maintain expert familiarity with security standards and operational best practices, as well as trends in technological advancement (e.g. containerization, microservices, cloud computing, SaaS, predictive data analytics) and provides requirements for security features and controls, including integration with the existing platforms.
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent post-secondary experience.
Strategic and tactical product management experience in working with remote access technology offerings and incorporating cybersecurity into products.
Demonstrated familiarity in working in diverse customer environments to address remote access and cybersecurity needs during product sales and service contract renewal negotiations.
5+ years of experience in information systems compliance management design, implementation, and/or integration.
Strong technical breadth and depth in support of healthcare remote access workflows, cybersecurity, data security, and security intelligence.
Experience working with cybersecurity standards such as NIST, Cloud Security Alliance, ISO 27001.
Knowledgeable of enterprise security architecture, including securing service-oriented architecture (SOA); network security; application security; cloud computing (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) in AWS or Azure; network infrastructure and web services, IAM, cryptography.
Cybersecurity certification is a plus (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISA).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to travel up to 20%.
